Bless Our Neighbors
Food insecurity is a common problem for families and individuals in our local community — and it has been worsened by COVID-19 and the disruption it has caused to schools, the economy, and more.
Our Mercy Team wants to help River Oaks do its part to respond to this challenge by hosting a food drive.
The team will distribute bags of food to residents in our community on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, as our supplies allow. But everyone is invited to pitch in to this effort by providing donations of non-perishable food items.
For the entire month of September, we will have a food collection box in the foyer of the church where you can drop off donations. If you are unable to attend worship due to COVID-related concerns, please contact the Mercy Team to make other arrangements.
