Sunday School for the Summer
This Summer we will be offering two adult Sunday school classes that help contribute to our balanced “diet” of Bible courses and theology/church history. We’re excited to have teachers with a wide range of expertise to offer the following classes for the months of June and July. Find out more below!
Hebrews: Pressing Onward in Christ
Hebrews is one of the most dense and complex books of the NT. It unlocks how the OT and NT fit together, proclaims the supremacy of Jesus, issues warnings against turning back from the faith, and offers comfort that the Christian is surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. Join Pastor Lanier and Pastor Brobst as we study this rich book of the Bible.
This class will meet in the worship center from 10:15-10:45am.
Reformation 201: The Later Years
Many Christians are familiar with the basic figures and events of the early stage of the Protest Reformation, especially Martin Luther presenting his “95 Theses” in Wittenberg and the like. But how much do you know about the later stage of the Reformation? Join Levi Berntson, Ben Shaw, Oto Tabares, Cade Horton, and Jack Trimble for “Season 2” of our Reformation series (here is the archive for “Season 1“)
This class will meet in the Knox/Calvin rooms from 10:15-10:45am.
