Promises Fulfilled
The Gospels of Matthew and Luke famously give God’s people the canonical accounts of the nativity of Jesus Christ—the divine Son born in Bethlehem of Judea. Matthew’s account provides a comprehensive retelling of these special events, from the genealogy of Jesus to the annunciation by the angel to the virgin conception to the visit of the magi. Throughout the narrative, the evangelist points out how the birth of Jesus is a grand fulfillment of the promises the Father made in Israel’s Scriptures of old.
Join us this December for a sermon series through the Matthean birth narrative to encounter afresh the coming of Jesus: promises fulfilled.
