Lake Mary to Krakow, Poland

On Sunday, January 15, River Oaks had the privilege of hosting Saško Nezamutdinov, who serves on the pastoral team of Christ the Savior Presbyterian Church in Krakow, Poland. Originally from Ukraine, Saško planted the church in the historical district of Krakow, and it is one of four Presbyterian churches in the entire country of 38 million people.

For the past eleven months since the Russian invasion began, the church has been heavily involved in caring for displaced peoples and refugees–mostly women and children–from Ukraine. The church has mobilized women’s Bible studies, hosted a 10-week long (!) summer vacation Bible school for children, provided assistance with lodging and food, and much more. River Oaks financially supported the effort in 2022 and were excited to have Saško worship with us and share more.
