Returning to Acaba Mundo
The Session and Missions Committee of River Oaks is excited to announce that we’ll be sending another short-term mission team to Acaba Mundo (in Belo Horizonte, Brazil), aiming for summer 2025. We had a fantastic experience in November 2024 through a four-person team, and we are excited to see how the Lord furthers our partnership with Isaiah 61 Ministries. (We have recently entered into a long-term support partnership with the ministry.)
Next step: Team meeting on Feb 9
We had our initial interest meeting on January 19. If you think the Lord may be calling you to participate in the trip, the next step is to attend the team meeting after church on February 9. We will be finalizing the trip dates and confirming participants–a key step to kicking off support raising.
