“For by grace you have been saved”
We are excited to be launching a new sermon series (January-June 2026) through Paul’s epistle to the churches at Ephesus (a city in Asia Minor). This epistle is, in many ways, a concise summary of Christian doctrine and its application. Paul begins by extoling the glorious riches of God’s plan of salvation in Christ. He then details how we are saved by faith, not by works–but that we are also saved unto good works that God has put us on the earth to do. He pivots to explaining how faith is the great equalizer of all people around the world: you are not saved by ancestry or culture or anything external, but solely by faith in Christ. He then unpacks the “so what,” explaining how this gospel should shape how we live, how we conduct ourselves in family, and so on.
It’s a brilliant (and short!) epistle that has something for everyone. We are excited to spend several months going through it detail. Invite your friends so they may hear more about the mystery of the gospel
