A Remnant Returns
Seventy years after the judgment of exile fell upon the people of Israel (2 Chronicles 36), the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to allow a remnant of his people to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple.
After a promising start the work of renewal was languishing because the people were discouraged and opposed.
Come and join us on Sundays in May and June as we learn how the Lord moves his people to finish the work of renewal among the ruins both then and now.
Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: “The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.”
