Missionaries to Missionaries

Dale and Carmen Phillips serve with Paraclete Mission Group (FB), a unique ministry that focuses on coming alongside other missionaries and Christian leaders around the world to help them thrive in their calling. Paraclete recognizes that ministry, while an enormous blessing, brings with it the risk of burnout, discouragement, marital stress, relational challenges, and more. Dale and Carmen, along with many other associates with Paraclete, work to help mission agencies, missionaries in the field, and other leaders find rest and encouragement for the battle.

The Phillipses were themselves missionaries for many years (with SERVEurope) and are thriving in a new role as missionaries-to-missionaries. Here is a quick greeting to ROC from Dale and Carmen:

Here are a few ways you can pray for Dale & Carmen and the work of Paraclete:

• Pray for their current 3-month trip to Bangkok to minister to missionary families there.
• Pray for two groups who have gone through their program Deep Community Experience, as the Phillipses seek to follow up with them
• Pray for various family challenges: major flood damage to one of their children’s home; graduate school decisions and funding for one of their daughters; upcoming semester of college for another daughter.
• Pray for Dale’s health challenges.

• Micah and Blair: Praise for encouraging local training and networking which has helped spark potential new ideas for church planting in their host city. Pray for the team’s planning for the next year, particularly as it looks to facilitate more cross-cultural work.
• Warren and Yukari Griffith: Pray for the Lord to raise up host families for the spring cycle of Mission to Japan exchange students.
• Jeremy and Angel: Praise for the funds raised to extend their visas. Praise for new converts / baptisms in 2022. Pray for their eldest daughter who will soon make the transition back to the US for college.
