East Asia

Micah and Blair (and their family) serve as overseas church-planting missionaries in a prominent city in East Asia, where they have lived for nearly a decade.

Micah serves as assistant pastor in a Presbyterian church that is led by an indigenous team. He assists with regular pastoral duties and serves alongside other local pastors and leaders in training up new ministers and planting churches in the region. He is also actively engaged in evangelism, and Blair meets regularly with the women of the church and schools their four children.

Where They Serve

Micah and Blair serve in a Muslim-majority nation. Due to the sensitive nature of the religious and political situation, further details cannot be shared publicly. (Feel free to contact the church office).

Meet the Family

Here’s a video greeting from Micah and Blair. Enjoy!

How You Can Pray

  • Mobilization for evangelism: The church is training its members in “Two Ways to Live” as part of a vision for equipping its people to share the gospel in their city in 2021.
  • Personal mentoring: Micah regularly disciples new believers and Muslims who are interested in Christianity.
  • Pandemic endurance: Their host city remains under stringent COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, which limits family mobility, church opportunities, and schooling.
  • Cross-cultural bridge building: Much of their time (incl. the children) is spent reaching across cultural borders to establish relationships, which is often tiring but rewarding.
Ministering to the women of the church (during a pandemic) is a joy and a challenge!
