Poetry and song for Lord Jesus
Music and poetry are a way that believers respond to the love of God. These compositions not only find an important home in the Old Testament but span the entire Bible. For this summer sermon series, we will focus on the “psalms” and other forms of poetry in the New Testament, from the Gospels to the Apocalypse–the first advent to the second.
These passages of Scripture express who Jesus is and what he has done for us. And they remind us that heart-filled worship through song and poetry will resound throughout eternity.
