New Year, New You(th Happenings)
I hope you’re all still basking in the afterglow of a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and starting to get excited for a fresh start in 2021. Read on for a preview of some of what we have planned so you can even more eagerly anticipate what’s to come!
Spring 2021 Series
Our new series in January is The Right-Side Up Kingdom. We’ll be looking at Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5-7. When Jesus starts out defining the characteristics of the blessed in what has come to be known as “the beatitudes” it seems completely backward to our human expectations.
But as we listen to Jesus, we’ll see that, because of our sin, it’s actually our expectations, perspective, and behavior that are upside down, and Jesus is the one whose kingdom is here to set things right.
Event Calendar
We’ve also got a lot of awesome events planned for the next year so we can have fun and build community as we grow in our knowledge and love for Christ! One thing we’re excited about it getting more families involved in hosting events this year to keep building the partnership between our youth team and parents. We’re in this together to build our students up in Christ! If your family would be interested in helping host an event, contact Joel.

Winter Retreats Reminder
Speaking of awesome events, the winter retreats are always a highlight of the year and we are very excited for them to be open this year after missing summer camp. Early registration is OPEN NOW for both middle and high school retreats and the deadline for the early rate is rapidly approaching so contact Joel to sign up ASAP.
