Happy New Year!
Welcome to 2022 everyone, we made it! Although 2021 may not have been the big comeback many of us were hoping for in other areas of life, it was a great year for ROC student ministry and we are looking forward to another great one coming up!
New Series: Frequently Asked Questions
We just finished an awesome semester looking at how to engage and understand God’s word. In case you missed the final week, we even made a handout to summarize a lot of the main takeaways including a handy guide to different genres in the Bible. You can download a copy here.
Our next series is called Frequently Asked Questions and will address some of the most common questions about theology and the Christian life specifically gathered from our group this past year! Topics include things like: How do I become a Christian? Do we have free will? How do I hear from God? Why do bad things happen?
You know, easy stuff. Pray for all our speakers this year!
Wednesday nights will kick back off on January 12th, we look forward to seeing everyone then!
Southland Winter Retreats
We mentioned it several times at the end of last year because we knew it would sneak up over the holidays, but winter retreats are coming up! There are only a few days left to register with the early bird price for the high school retreat! High school is the last weekend in January. Middle school is the last weekend in February. Staying Connected
In addition to our weekly gathering, we regularly have fellowship events to help youth and their families connect and grow together. We’ll be providing a calendar at the semester kickoff, but we’re also high tech here at ROC and you can stay up to date in a few other ways too!
