Join our Winter/Spring 2022 Bible Study!
Two exciting women’s Bible studies this spring will provide an opportunity for members, visitors, and friends of River Oaks to grow in their love for the Lord through the study of his Word together. Women of all ages are invited to join in. Find out more below about our Wednesday night and Thursday Morning studies!
Topic: Lamb of God by Nancy Guthrie
We will be studying Nancy Guthrie’s Study Guide – The Lamb of God: Seeing Jesus in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The study will go through Exodus during the Winter/Spring semester and will continue through the following books during the fall 2022 study. Each semester will be an 11-week study with 2 off weeks in the middle.
The layout of The Lamb of God study is in 3 parts for each passage:
1) Personal Study Questions
2) Teaching Chapter
3) Discussion Questions.
Some of these chapters will be split into two weeks of study.
Books will be available at the Welcome Center. Donations of $10 accepted.
Two Meeting Options
We are excited to be offering two meeting options:
- Wednesday Evening, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
- Kicks off January 19, runs for 11 weeks
- Location: Large Sunday school classroom (in-person AND Zoom options)
- Free childcare available
- Weekly schedule
- Thursday Morning, 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
- Kicks off January 20, runs for 11 weeks
- Location: Large Sunday school classroom (in-person only)
