Learn More About Our 2022 Trip
ROC is excited to be partnering with MTW missionaries Julian and Christiana Russell for another short-term mission trip to Nassau, Bahamas!
We have supported the Russells for several years. We’re excited to be planning another trip for summer 2022:
July 16 to 23!
The leader of the trip will be David Knowles (pastoral intern and native Bahamian).
Interested?
Julian and Christiana will be visiting River Oaks on January 9th.
Julian will be preaching during both services as part of our upcoming 1 Thessalonians series. They will both be presenting during Sunday school.
After the service, anyone who is interested in learning more about the trip is invited to an interest meeting with the Russells (along with the trip leader and missions committee) after the second service, beginning at 12:30pm. Please bring a bag lunch if you’d like.
During this meeting we will discuss the goals of the trip and gather input on timeline. We will meet in the large Sunday school classroom.
Attending the meeting does not, of course, obligate you to participate in the trip. But it’s the first step towards discerning if the Lord is possibly calling you to go, pray, support, or all the above!
