End-of-Year ROC ON Wednesday Party!
ROC ON Wednesday ended its year on May 10 with a bounce house celebration for everyone! All groups (kids, youth, Women’s bible study and Men’s bible study) joined together for food and fun. The ROC On Wednesday kids program will restart in August!
Spots Are Filling Up For VBS 2023!
Hear ye, hear ye! River Oaks Church is excited to host a medieval-themed Vacation Bible School from July 17-21, 2023. VBS will run daily from 9:00am-12:00pm.

The Gospel Project Unit 11: King David
This month, we’ll continue unit 11 from The Gospel Project to answer the question: What is grace? This unit explores how, “Grace is when God gives us something good even when we do not deserve it.” (Gospel Project, Unit 11)
Lessons this month include:
- May 7, 2023: (2 Samuel 11-12) – FAMILY SUNDAY (All families are encouraged to worship together at the 11 am service.)
- May 14, 2023: God Is Good to Give Grace. (Psalm 51)
- May 21, 2023: God Gave Solomon Wisdom (1 Kings 2-3)
- May 28, 2023: Solomon Built The Temple (1 Kings 6-8)
Memory verse for May: This unit’s verse is Ephesians 1:7-8, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight.”
All families are encouraged to pick up a Unit Overview on the table in the children’s ministry hallway!
