Fall Rock Blocks Party!
Save the date (November 14) for the Fall Rock Blocks Party. But shhh…don’t share with your kids just yet!
Each Sunday, your children have received ROCK blocks for memorizing Bible verses, participating in Sunday School/ROCK and treating their classmates with respect. Children have been adding their blocks to build a fall tree and they are so close to earning a Fall party!
All children and families are invited to the fall festival-themed party directly following church on the playground. We’ll have finger foods, crafts, games and a time for fellowship. Please pray for sunny and cool fall weather!
Making Disciples of All The Nations
Last month, we began Unit 32 of Gospel Project to learn about the great commission. This unit focuses on how, “In the Great Commission, Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations. Early church leaders made disciples by sharing the gospel, baptizing new believers, and teaching them to obey Jesus. Our mission as Christians is to make disciples of all nations by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Gospel Project, Unit 32) The big picture question in this unit will help children understand, “What is our mission as Christians?” Children will learn that our mission is to make disciples of all nations by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Gospel Project @ Home weekly units include:
- November 7, 2021: The Church Divided (1 Corinthians 1-6) Believers come together because of the gospel. (Click here for Lesson 32.3) (FAMILY SUNDAY!)
- November 14, 2021: Letters to Church Leaders (1-2 Timothy; Titus) Paul wrote letters to the leaders in the church. (Click here for Lesson 32.4)
- November 21, 2021: The Jerusalem Council (Acts 15) Jesus is all we need to be saved from sin. (Click here for Lesson 33.1)

Memory verse for Unit 32: This unit’s verse is Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
