Thankful November Night
All families are encouraged to join our “Thankful November Night” to sing and express thanks to the Lord! The campfire singalong will take place on Saturday, November 12 from 6:00-7:30 pm on the lawn outside of the church office. The church will provide all the fixings for s’mores – all you need to bring is a lawn chair or blanket to sit around the fire!
If you’d like to participate in playing music, bring an instrument, too. Please contact the church office with any questions about the event.
The Gospel Project: Away From The Land
The Children’s Ministry will start Unit 7 of The Gospel Project. According to the unit overview, this unit explores, “When the next generation of God’s people, led by Joshua, returned back to the land of Canaan, God reminded them of His promises and that all of His words are true. Joshua and the Israelites would need to remember God’s Word, trust it, and live in obedience to it if they were to conquer the land.” This month, we’ll answer the question: What is the Bible? The Bible is God’s Word that tells us what is true about God and ourselves.
Lessons this month include:
- November 6, 2022: God Encouraged Joshua (Joshua 1)
- November 13, 2022: God Stopped The Jordan River (Joshua 3-4)
- November 20, 2022: The Bible Helps Us Live For God (2 Timothy 3)
- November 27, 2022: God Defeated Jericho(Joshua 2;6)
Memory verse: This unit’s verse is Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
All families are encouraged to pick up a Unit Overview on the table in the children’s ministry hallway!
