Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and Team Training!
Save the date for November 6, 2022! We will have our teacher appreciation luncheon and training meeting after the second service of church. All children’s ministry team members, youth helpers and adults who are interested in joining the team are encouraged to come. Lunch and childcare will be provided so please RSVP here!
The Gospel Project: Away From The Land
The Children’s Ministry will start Unit 6 of The Gospel Project. According to the unit overview, this unit explores how, “No one is like God. God is holy, good, and loving. Jesus shows us what God is like and gives us hope. God can make us more like Jesus. We can trust Him and live joyfully for Him.” This month, we’ll answer the question: What is God like? God is holy, good, and loving.
Lessons this month include:
- October 2, 2022: God Deserves Our Worship (Leviticus 1–4)
- October 9, 2022: The People Didn’t Go Into The Land (Numbers 13)
- October 16 , 2022: Moses Disobeyed God (Numbers 20)
- October 23, 2022: God Healed The People (Numbers 21)
- October 30, 2022: No One Is Like God (1 Peter 1)
Memory verse: This unit’s verse is Exodus 15:11, “Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?”

ROC On Wednesday
Looking for something to do on Wednesday night? Please join the children’s ministry for fellowship, games, crafts and a bible lesson at ROC On (River Oaks Church on Wednesday)! This program is for children in preschool through fifth grade. Every week starts with a family dinner served between 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. followed by the drop-off program from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
