February Missions Spotlight: Hardy Reynolds

Reaching College Students for Christ

Hardy Reynolds is a campus minister for Reformed University Fellowship, serving on the campus of the University of Central Florida. RUF is a ministry of our church’s denomination, and it seeks to make disciples of Jesus on college campuses around the country and the world.

Through the ministry of RUF, students discover the love of Christ, find their significance in God’s redemptive story, and engage in the life of His church. River Oaks has had a longstanding relationship with RUF at UCF, and in recent years it has been wonderful to see several of our own members who attend the University be a part of the ministry. Here are a few ways you can pray for Hardy and the RUF staff team at UCF

• Pray for the new Spring semester: contact with new and returning students, interest-building events on campus
• Pray for the weekly large group meetings: for the word of God to be preached and bear much fruit
• Pray for the freshmen Bible study and upperclassmen men’s and women’s small groups
• Pray for the interns Jordon Lewis and Breanne Moench as they build relationships with students on campus

• Julian & Christiana Russell: Pray for the merger of their church (CLPC) with St. Andrews Presbyterian Kirk (in Nassau) and Julian’s transition to a new role in the ministry.
• Warren and Yukari Griffith: Pray for the Lord to raise up host families for the spring cycle of Mission to Japan exchange students.
• July short-term trip to London: Praise for the opportunity to send 4 short-term missionaries from ROC to be a part of LEAP 2023 with Serge (partnering with Jeremy & Angel). More details to come soon!
