You Are Invited!
We invite you to join us at River Oaks Church to celebrate the central event of history: the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Whether you have been a Christian for a long time or are exploring what Jesus is all about, you are welcome to join us. We will be having the following worship services and events:
Palm Sunday, March 29
- We will be holding our worship services at 9:00 and 11:00 AM; the children will be waving palm branches and singing before the 11am service.
- Pastor Camera will be continuing our series on Ephesians.
- Nursery and children’s Sunday school will be available.
Good Friday, April 3
- We will hold a special service from 6:30-7:30pm to honor the crucifixion of Jesus.
- After a time of singing, prayer, the Lord’s Supper, and a homily from John 19:28, we will leave the worship center in darkness and silence, as we reflect on the gravity of the death of the Son of God. But come back for the light breaking in on Easter Morning!
- Nursery will be available
Easter Sunday, April 5
- We will be holding three worship services: 7:00am (sunrise service); 9:00am; and 11:00 AM
- We will proclaim the good news of the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day, drawn from 1 Corinthians 15:1-11.
- There will be no Sunday school (children or adults) between services.
- Nursery will be available at 9 and 11am.
- Overflow parking will be available across the street at Starchild Academy.
