Seeds of Grace

We are women of all ages at ROC—both new attendees and long-time members—united in Christ. Our desire is that Seeds of Grace would serve as a connection point for women to the life and ministries of the church, fostering opportunities for meaningful fellowship and faithful service.

What We Do

Bible Studies

We offer two women’s Bible studies throughout the year—typically one in the evening and one in the morning—with various childcare options available. We long to be nourished by the Word of God and to equip women to study Scripture with care and confidence.

Join us for a study focused on growing in prayer (and battling feelings of guilt and fear about prayer). We will be studying the prayer lives of men and women in Scripture to discover practical encouragement for growing in prayer.

  • Wednesday evenings (6:00-7:30pm) or Thursday mornings (10:30am-12:00n)
  • Begins August 19th/20th
  • Sign up here!

Special Events

Throughout the year we host a variety of events designed to encourage fellowship and connection among the women of our church.

On October 10, 2026 (9:00am-2:00pm), join us for a half-day retreat right here at ROC focused on God’s heart for the nations and our role in His mission. Centered on Psalm 96:3, we’ll explore what it means to declare His glory among all peoples and discover practical ways to get involved—both locally and globally. Register here.

Visit the Hub to stay current on upcoming events, or follow us on Facebook for updates.

Showers

We believe that life in the body of Christ includes rejoicing with one another in meaningful milestones (Romans 12:15). We host showers for first-time moms and brides as a way of celebrating and supporting them in these special seasons.

What Guides Our Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry leadership team is deeply committed to the following four core values. These values flow directly from ROC’s core values. We desire that every  woman in our  ROC family would grow in these same commitments as we journey together toward greater Christlikeness:

  • Faithful Service: Serving with humility and trust in God’s sovereignty.
  • Scriptural Fidelity: Grounding all activities in the inerrant Word of God.
  • Love for God and Neighbor: Living out the Great Commandment in community.
  • Authentic Community: Building meaningful connections among women.

Leadership

Our Women’s Ministry Team is led by Gretel Tabares, Anna Baker, Kait Fulbright, Lynn Shaw, Susanna McConnell, and Maggie Oh
