The Race Goes On!
On Friday, June 7, we wrapped up an incredible week of Vacation Bible School. Nearly 90 kids and dozens of youth and adult leaders took over River Oaks for The Incredible Race, an adventure through the world to learn about God’s beautiful vision to bring a people to himself from every tribe, tongue, and nation.
Each day was packed with songs, Bible lessons, games, crafts, and snack selections from different parts of the world. We ended the week by holding a splash party with ice pops and water slides.
But the race goes on, as we hope each child has caught a grand vision for what Christ is doing throughout the world, so that they, too, might see their place in the global kingdom of God.
