Sunday Worship
- We will be welcoming Rev. Dr. Matt Newkirk to preach God’s word from Isaiah 52:1-12. Preparation questions:
- How does this passage teach the basics of the gospel?
- The children’s ministry will be studying Deborah and Barak (Judg 4-5)
- Rev. Newkirk will be sharing about their ministry in Japan during adult Sunday School
About the Newkirks
- Matt and Caroline (and their children Lydia, Silas, Ethan, and Chloe) are missionaries with MTW in Nagoya, Japan. Matt was recently installed as president of Christ Bible Institute.
- Matt served as our part-time worship leader in the late 2000s while he was a student at RTS-Orlando
- We are pleased to welcome them to worship with us! Many ROC members continue to be friends and supporters of the Newkirks.
