Viewing of “Wonder”

Ladies of River Oaks! Please join us Friday, February 22nd, for a movie night together!

It’ll be just like those fancy theaters (minus the cushy reclining seats). We’re watching the movie Wonder, which came out in 2017. Here’s a brief description:

This drama is based on a bestselling novel about a young boy with a facial deformity. The heartwarming story focuses on the boy’s attempts to fit in with other kids as he attends a mainstream school for the first time in the fifth grade. The film stars Jacob Tremblay as the boy and Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson as his parents. Rated PG. Length: 1 hour 53 minutes.

We’ll have movie snacks, popcorn and drinks, as well as time for connecting with other women before and after the movie. All ladies aged middle school and higher are encouraged to attend. Feel free to invite friends, neighbors or co-workers!

RSVP to Melody Hoover at mahoover@outlook.com to let us know you’re coming and if you need childcare.

Please bring a camp chair or bean bag if you have one, though we’ll have some extra seating available.
