You Are Invited!
We invite you to join us at River Oaks Church to celebrate the central event of history: the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Whether you have been a Christian for a long time or are exploring what Jesus is all about, you are welcome to join us. We will be having the following worship services and events:
Palm Sunday, April 14
- We will be holding our worship services at 9:00 and 11:00 AM
- Pastor Camera will be continuing our study of the last week of Jesus’s life from the Gospel according to Matthew
- Nursery and children’s Sunday school will be available
Good Friday, April 19
- We will hold a special service from 6:00-7:00pm to honor the crucifixion of Jesus.
- After a time of singing, prayer, and study of God’s Word, we will leave the worship center in darkness and silence, as we reflect on the gravity of the death of the Son of God. But come back for the light breaking in on Easter Morning!
- Nursery will be available
Easter Sunday, April 21
- We will be holding our worship services at 9:00 and 11:00 AM
- Pastor Camera will preach the good news of the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day, drawn from the Gospel according to Matthew. He is risen! He is risen indeed!
- Pastor Lanier will also be hosting a special Sunday school discussion (10:15-10:45 AM) on why we believe the bodily resurrection of Jesus to be a true, historical fact. If you have ever wondered whether we have reasonable grounds for this belief, this half-hour is for you.
- Nursery and children’s Sunday school will be available
