- We will continue our Genesis: Blessing series with Genesis 25 (death of Abraham, birth of Jacob & Esau). Getting prepared:
- In the context of Genesis, what is the significance of the birth of these two twin boys?
- Read Romans 9 and reflect on the significance of their birth as described by Paul
- Preview the bulletin and song lyrics
- We will also be honoring the women of our church in celebration of Mother’s Day. Read the recent post, “Mother’s Day and the Body of Christ“
- Adult Ed Revelation series will look again at Revelation 20
- Children’s Ministry will be studying the birth and calling of Moses (Exod 1-4)
Events & Reminders
- All VBS volunteers are invited to a 2-hr training on Saturday, May 25 (2-4pm) OR Sunday, May 26 (1-3pm). Pick one to attend (not both)!
- Parents of youth (or of children who will be in middle school in the next 2 years) are invited to a youth vision/planning meeting after the second service on May 19. RSVP for food/childcare

Mid-week Ministries
- Youth will be meeting at the regular time on Wednesday, finishing up the semester’s study of the Bible reading plan
- Pastor Camera’s Fundamentals of Bible Reading Seminar will continue on Wednesday night at 6:00pm
